Dr. Woodrow Johnson, Jr.

Dr. Woodrow Johnson, Jr. is a 1989 graduate of Francis Marion High School located in Marion, Alabama. In 1991, he earned a diploma of certification in Industrial Electronics from Wallace Community College, Selma, Alabama.

Dr. Woodrow Johnson, Jr. accepted his call in the ministry and was licensed in June of 1996. A year later, in March of 1997, he was ordained at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.

Dr. Woodrow Johnson, Jr. earned a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Bible and Pastoral Ministry in 2002 from Selma University, Selma, Alabama.  In 2005, he earned his Masters of Divinity Degree from the Interdenominational Theological Center, Morehouse School of Religion, Atlanta, Georgia. In 2011, he earned a Doctor of Ministry Degree from United Theological Seminary, Dayton, Ohio.

Dr. Woodrow Johnson, Jr. served as Assistant Professor for the Department of Religion for ten years and Dean of Students at Selma University for three of those years.
